Hunger vs Hunger began as a small fundraiser aimed at helping get people back on their feet during the worst of Covid in 2021. In just four years, it has raised over $386,000 and grown from two sponsors, to over fifty. And yet, the need at the Bellingham Food Bank has more than tripled. On July 20th, 2024, Ethan set out for the fourth time to burn as many calories in one day as possible to continue to raise awareness for the food insecurity that exists in Whatcom County.
